July/August 2023 Newsletter

July/August 2023

Here the month is almost halfway over and I’m just now getting this out to you. Goodness. That’s why I’m including August dates along with July’s! The summer is just flying by. I’ve spent lots of time walking through lush fields of grass, and gazing at beautiful wildflowers and stunning sunsets. What a green year we are having so far, aren’t we? I don’t mind the frequent rain showers if it brings such abundant flora and spectacular scenery. Music is a daily pleasure, and my greatest joy is sharing it with others. I’m almost back to my pre-covid regular musical rotations at area senior facilities, as well as providing music for services of various sorts. Here are the dates to keep in mind for public shows:

PS If you want to have a fun adventure, take and ride out the Headwaters State Park in Three Forks. On the way there, check out the creative artwork from an amazing couple whose farm is on Trident Road. (Get off Interstate 90 at exit 278. Turn north on MT-2 W Frontage Road, then north on Trident Rd to the Park.) The farm is on the lefthand side of the road. It’s the one that always has antique bikes with flowers at the entrance. This amazing couple has created about 35 zany birdhouses and put them on the fence posts in front of the farm. Here are just a few examples. Sooo much fun! And the little prickly pear cactus in the area were blooming like never before.
