December Thoughts

Winter seems fully here, although the snow has come in bits and spurts. As we experience this Thanksgiving season, I feel ever so grateful for the opportunities to share the joy of music. Every time I grab my guitar to “go to work,” I feel gratefulness. Whenever I connect with an audience at a brew pub, restaurant, or coffee house, I feel gratitude and happiness. Each and every time I play for seniors at the various senior facilities in the valley, I feel full of joy and gratefulness. Whenever one of my music students makes strides with their instrument, I share their excitement and happiness. I am truly one grateful gal.

Of course, living in the beauty that Montana affords us is the cherry on top of all the fun. Here are a couple of pictures I took on a “walk in the neighborhood” with my friend Robin who suggested I take a picture of the plowed field covered in a light layer of snow. Pretty cool, huh?

Thursday, December 5: Edis solo at the Manhattan Christmas Stroll at the Amerimont Realty (at the four-way stop) 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Sunday, December 15: Edis solo at Outlaw Brewing, 6 to 8 pm. 2876 N 27th, Bozeman. Totally fun place. Friendly folks, great brews, and of course, super tunes. www.outlaw-brewing.com

Tuesday, December 17: Edis solo Nordic Brew Works, 7 to 9 pm. This elegant and fun new place in the west side “Market” building has a great atmosphere and excellent dinner choices. My favorite is the veggie polenta, but their wood fired pizzas are also amazing. At 730 Boardwalk Ave Suite 1B, Bozeman. www.nordicbrewworks.com

Saturday, December 21: Live Solstice Kirtan with Devotion in Motion, 5 to 6 pm. I’ll be playing electric bass. Part of an all day Kirtan celebration at Yoga Motion, 521 East Peach Street Suite B Bozeman, www.facebook.com/events/626455007804270/

I will also be providing music at Unity Spiritual Center on Dec 8th and 29th. 1919 Fairway Dr, Bozeman, 10:30 to noon.
