Greetings, all. I do hope these couple of days of sunshine has alleviated your “wintertime-but-it’s-not-winter-yet” blues. Crazy, huh? I took this photo about a week ago, October 23rd. It’s the beautiful little pond on the north side of town off Davis. That day, there were literally hundreds of water birds congregated, making their plans to head south. I hope they did so quickly, because yesterday when I drove by that same pond, it was nearly frozen over. I guess the last couple of nights of BELOW ZERO weather had something to do with it.
Don’t get me started.

Tuesday, November 12: Edis solo at Nordic Brew Works, 7 to 9 pm, no cover. This elegant and fun new place in the west side “Market” building has a great atmosphere and excellent dinner choices.
