October Newsletter 2019

Greetings.

This summer will have to go on record for being the most fleeting. Is it really autumn already? The leaves are turning and falling, so it must be. As I write this on September 23rd, I see that the forecast for Sunday is a high of 37 and a low of 25 degrees. My poor tomatoes. Dang.

The days have been marvelous, though, so I am not complaining. Looking forward to October’s musical happenings:

Friday, October 5: Join Edis and Friends for a very special acoustic show at Ted's Montana Grill in the Baxter Hotel Lobby, 105 W Main St, Bozeman. Joining Edis will be Silas Rea on fiddle and mandolin, and Shawna Lockhart on standup bass. Expect a foot-tapping evening of a mix of blues, folk, and traditional tunes. No cover. 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

Friday, October 11: Edis solo at Santa Fe Reds, 6 to 8 pm. 1235 N 7th Ave, Bozeman. No cover, just great margaritas and Mexican fare!

Tuesday, October 15: Edis solo at the Bozeman Taproom & Fill Station, 101 N Rouse Ave, Bozeman. 7 to 9 pm, no cover. With 75 taps, it has one of the largest, most diverse rotating beer selections in the state. Sports bar, friendly atmosphere.

Tuesday, October 22: Nordic Brew Works, 8 to 10 pm. This elegant and fun new place in the west side “Market” building has a great atmosphere and excellent dinner choices. My favorite is the veggie polenta, but their wood fired pizzas are also amazing. At 730 Boardwalk Ave Suite 1B, Bozeman. www.nordicbrewworks.com

Thursday, October 24: Edis and the Incredibles will be back at Bozeman Hot Springs, 7 to 10 pm. That’s Edis on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Cliff DeManty on keys, and Eddie T. on bass. Hot Tunes and Hot Water. What could be better than that?
