November Notes 2018

There’s no getting around it: the snow has arrived. As much as I prefer NOT having to don hat, gloves, coat, long johns, ETC every time I walk my dog, there is such beauty in those white mountain tops. I snapped the above photo a couple of weeks ago just west of town at the pond on north Davis. We are indeed fortunate to be surrounded by such awesome grandeur here in Bozeman. Brings solace to the soul in these difficult times.

October Notes 2018

Well, there’s no getting around it. Autumn is here in all its glory. And cold. Yikes.

September brought delightful times such as leading music for the “pajama party” at Celebrating Women in gorgeous Boulder, MT (photo above), playing for the first time at Santa Fe Reds (what nice folks AND great margaritas), and my very first singing telegram for a dear woman’s 84th birthday. What fun!

Hello rain, good bye fires. Hopefully. I’m sure enjoying the bluer skies lately. Aren’t you?

Had SUCH a wonderful time at Targhee Music Camp. So grateful for those four days, and I would strongly recommend that anyone interested in spending four days immersed in music with like-minded, fun people—go next year. It gave me such a musical boost emotionally and pragmatically.
